You must RSVP to attend the Promotion Ceremony.
We are thrilled to announce that our 8th grade in person promotion ceremony has been APPROVED!
To support social distancing, we will be holding 2 promotion ceremonies.
DATE: June 4th, 2021
Cohort A : Ceremony will be 9:00-10:00 am
Cohort B: Ceremony will be 12:00-1:00pm
Distance Learners: May choose which ceremony they would like to attend.
Location: The ceremony will take place on the blacktop on campus at Arts Charter.
Please review the required safety protocols all staff, students and guest are required to follow:
Masks are required, at all times, for all staff students and guests throughout the event- this includes vaccinated individuals. (The only exception will be for active speakers participating in the ceremony).
Guests will be limited to the number of members living within the promoting student's household.
Advance RSVP is required for all attendees.
Staff, students and guests will be required to complete the SRCS daily health screener prior to the event. Temperatures will be checked prior to entering campus. Paper health screeners will be available at the check in gate, upon arrival. Parentsquare daily health screener will be available for students and staff.
Participants and guests who do not pass the health screener will not be permitted to attend.
All participants and guests must enter the campus through the Red gate and go through the check in procedure.
Guests will be asked to go directly to their designated seating upon arrival. Guests must sit with their own household at their designated seating.
All participants will maintain 6 feet distance between groups/individuals outside of their household members.
Participants and guests will depart from campus immediately following the event through the Red gate.
After a challenging school year, we are very excited to be able to honor the perseverance, grit and resilience of our promoting 8th graders in person. I want to thank you in advance for helping us to make this a day of celebration for your 8th graders by agreeing to follow all of the safety protocols that will be enforced for this event. We are looking forward to celebrating along with you as your 8th graders prepare to head off to High School!
